These Booking Conditions contain important information. It is essential that you carefully read and understand them. The Booking Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Mai Hsoong Travel Limited (hereafter referred to as “we”“us”) and you or your representative agent for the services we provide and set out the basis of your legal relationship with us.

y booking with us and paying the deposit or full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be legally bound by these Booking Conditions. Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed in writing to you or your travel agent, and a contract comes into existence on the date shown on your confirmation letter or email.

We do our utmost to confirm your bookings within 72 hours (three working days) from the time of receiving your request. Once we receive confirmations from the relevant suppliers such as hotels and flights, we will send you our letter of confirmation along with a Pro-forma invoice. By checking and acknowledging receipt of our confirmation and placing the deposit you have effectively agreed to the terms and conditions set out here.

Due to poor internet connection in Myanmar if you do not receive the confirmation within three working days, you are kindly requested to resend your requests.

Prices are on twin sharing basis, and based on costs and exchange rates applicable when your trip was quoted – single supplement will be applicable to those in single rooms (one person one room). We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of market fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel costs and other operating costs on which prices are based though we will do everything within our control NOT to increase the quoted prices. Itineraries are indicative only and subject to change depending on the weather conditions and local situations. International airfares, passport and visa fees, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, airport taxes, gratuities to guides, extra meals, laundry, drinks, medical expenses, optional activities and trips, and any items of a personal nature are not included in your trip price, unless otherwise stated in our prices.

Services Included in our prices:

  •     All sightseeing tour and transfer services with private air conditioned car as detailed in our itinerary
  •     Bed & Breakfast in Twin sharing room
  •     Accommodation with breakfast    
  •     Boat Fees
  •     Domestic flight tickets with Air KBZ or a suitable domestic airline
  •     Guide
  •     All entrance fees for the places as mentioned in the program
  •     Insurance surcharge on Domestic Airlines in Myanmar
  •     Domestic airports    taxes
  •     Service charges, room tax and baggage handling and government tax

Services excluded in our prices:

  •     Services not mentioned in our itinerary    
  •     Meals where not specified
  •     Visa fees    
  •     International flight tickets to and from Yangon    
  •      Expenditure of a personal nature (Such as: uses of mini-bar and, laundry service, telephone call, camera fees and etc...)    
  •     Travel insurance (cover against all cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the  event of accident or illness)

Due to highly volatile nature of aviation industry, domestic flights are quoted separately and are subject to change without notice before or during the tour. On the other hand, the land costs shall remain the same once the full payment has been made on your part.

We act as agent for service providers when making arrangements for your trip. Where we provide services we will do so with due care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by you during or outside the tour program. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accidents, natural disaster, political turmoil shall be borne by you/ tourists. Participation in our tour programs imply that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out here.

CHILD POLICY

  For children in the age between 2 and 12 years following discounts are granted:

- Child in shared adults’ room with extra bed   : 15% of total package price
- Child in shared adults’ room without extra bed  : 25% of total package price
- Child in shared twin room        : No discount (child airfare only)
A maximum of two children per party is granted such a discount.

INFANT POLICY

  For children up to 2 year old
- Hotel           Sharing the same bed with parents at Free of Charge
- Car              Sitting on lap of parents at Free of Charge
- Airfare         Between 25-30 % of adult domestic airfare depending on domestic airlines

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellation of confirmed reservations, the following cancellation fees on the whole package according to the case incurred will be charged. Special conditions, meaning more strict policy apply for cruises, beach resorts as well as for some hotels, mentioned separately.

Individual or non group up to 9 pax

60 days prior to arrival  : 0 % cancellation fees 
31 to 59 days prior to arrival  : 50% cancellation fees 
01 to 30 days prior to arrival  : 100% cancellation fees 

Group tour 10 pax and above

90 days prior to arrival  : 0 % cancellation fees 
60 to 89 days prior to arrival  : 25 % cancellation fees 
31 to 59 days prior to arrival  : 50% cancellation fees 
01 to 30 days prior to arrival : 100% cancellation fees

If you have any complaint about your trip, you must make it known at the earliest opportunity to the guide, or the operation manager who will normally be able to take appropriate action. If at the end of the trip you feel your complaint has not been properly dealt, you must notify us in writing within 30 days of the end of your trip.

It is your responsibility that you carry a valid passport and have obtained the visas. Please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your holiday.

You agree that we may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and without compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.

Unless otherwise stated or agreed to by Mai Hsoong Travel Limited, the payment policy is as follows:
Upon receiving our letter of confirmation, you are required to place a deposit of 30% of the total cost of tour to secure the services confirmed.

The balance of the payment shall be made 60 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

A cut-off date will be shown in the letter of confirmation by which the deposit should enter into our account.

Kindly note that the transaction may take up to 3 days and ensure that the deposit reaches our account on or before the cut-off date. Otherwise, the systems will auto-release the bookings. Kindly inform us of your
transaction reference or code after wiring.

All bank charges shall be borne by you and “net” amount shall enter into our account as shown in our invoice.
